Ole press release about Stephen Tyler mentions Haley - Miguel - 06-12-2012
6-12-12, Ole press release about Stephen Tyler mentions Haley
Quote:ole has signed a worldwide music publishing administration deal with the legendary American singer, songwriter, and Aerosmith frontman, Steven Tyler.
...Notable copyrights for ole include Taylor Swift singles "Fearless," "White Horse," "Tim McGraw," "Picture To Burn," "Teardrops On My Guitar"; Pixie Lott's "All About Tonight"; Rascal Flatts' "Why Wait"; JLS' "Do You Feel What I Feel"; Haley Reinhart feat. B.o.B's "Oh My!"; Kelly Clarkson's "Miss Independent"; Britney Spears' "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman"; Kris Allen's "Fighters"; Pink's "U + Ur Hand"; 'N Sync's "It's Gonna Be Me"; Backstreet Boys' "Shape of My Heart"; iconic Canadian Olympic theme "I Believe"; Alannah Myles' "Black Velvet"; and Tim McGraw's "Something Like That."
Two things:
1) This could be another indication that "Oh My" is intended to be the second single. Haley didn't have writing credit on "Free."
2) ole spelling their name using all lowercase letters annoys me.

I was actually surprised to learn that Lauren did some background vocals on one of the Aerosmith's songs, I would have thought if any S10 were asked for that duty, it would have been Haley. We don't know if Haley was even asked.

Great picture and write-up about Haley!!

It would be harder to read if they didn't since they don't capitalize their name.

(also repetition is a good way to imprint onto your subconscious which contributes to name recognition )

Wow, that's really encouraging news! Sounds like Ole has a solid game plan in place, and also that they hold Haley in high regards (as do we all!). I myself think 2013 has great things in store for Haley. I can't wait for some new Haley material! I love that Haley was specifically mentioned in the same sentence as "Driven by it's strong mandate to add Creative value,.."

When Listen up came out on the market it was a damn shame that it was never promoted properly. There are so many gems so many good tunes so much craftsmanship musicianship Haley singing backups on her own tunes all this Incorporated shows up in a phenomenal album. I just hope that when her next album comes out somehow she will be able to resurrect some of the songs on her sophomore album. Especially Undone, Spiderweb, Walking on Heaven Now That You're Here, all those wonderful tunes and would hate to see this album Listen up kind of fade into the background. I to am encouraged bout this coming year
