I've noticed the 'furor' at TV Line has mostly died down whenever Michael and Jason would make intermittent Haley references...
Used to be if Slezak made the slightest reference to Haley, like clockwork, there would be someone howling at Michael to 'get over it' or 'she wasn't that great'

Oh sorry, I didn't know about the contestant who sang IWHN. I live in Brazil and AI is 2 weeks late!

Not on AI. They referred to Jordin Sparks' version. The theme was songs covered by AI Winners, so that didn't apply to Haley...

This is why I really really hope someone like Candice or Angie (or Kree, or Amber) does one of Haley's actual songs. They'll do it well, and Haley will get a lot of free promo off of it.
I really really think Haley's rendition of Rolling In the Deep, helped out Adele. She was falling the itunes charts, Haley sang it..and the song basically stayed at #1 for months.
If one of the more popular contestants were to sing "Oh My" ....I think it would help a lot. (Not to say it would do as well as Rolling in the Deep...but a lot of people watch Idol. )

I can see an Idol contestant singing "Undone" well. But I have a hard time imagining any of them being able to pull off "Oh My!"

I keep bringing this one up but I think "what you don't know, won't hurt you" is a song that different singers can do without trying to be Haley (which is impossible)
It would be up beat yet be a song a big voice could show a hell of a lot of range and power with.
Amber or Candace could do this justice.. don't you think ?
