Surgery is very stressful, I hope everything goes well. I don't want her running ragged when plenty of us (I'm sure) are willing to help.

Riley - From a Sox fan point of view the only two bad things about Wrigley are the columns & the drunks. Wrigley is my least favorite MLB Ballpark in all of the US & Canada now that the Metrodumb in Minn isn't for baseball and Skydome in Toronto has the roof open.
but I did design the Sports World Store addition that is at the corner of Clark & Addison - same address as Wrigley.

I have to try my best to get Sunday off as well (will be driving in from Youngstown, OH about 450 miles/7 hours) and want to make the best of it! :-)

Mrs. Himm2 is very sweet, hospitable and personable when I met her, not once did she roll her eyes at one of her hubby's fanatic buddies LOL

I will be there Thursday afternoon so PLZ don't hesitate to let me help you with ANY preparations. The less Mrs Himm2 has to concern herself with this (other than enjoying it, herself), the more energy she can put towards a speedy recovery. I did work banquets and kitchen so have skills that are applicable to this sort of thing.

Sorry dude I am not a hater and was trying to have some fun - won't be posting on this topic anymore. The Sports World store in nice and yes I have been in there more than once . I hope Tusk enjoys the Wrigley experience (not all drunks visit the park) and it is an experience
Hope Ms. himmm2 does well with her surgery too.

I didn't mean to strike a nerve riley...maybe some left over sadness that the Cubs temporarily sent the Sox on a downward spiral after sweeping them. I probably got Buzz mad at me too with my metrodome comment.
You're right midnightblues...it would probably cost a hundred bucks to get drunk at a BB game.

No offense here. The HHHumphrey Metrodome was a terrible baseball stadium. It was built for the Vikings and the Twins were stuck playing there...however, without the Dome (or the Dump) we would not have won the 1987 and 1991 World Series. The Twins won every home game and lost every road game in each World Series...thank the baseball gods that the American League had home field advantage both of those years. Now they are playing in one of the best stadiums in MLB at Target Field, as outdoor baseball has returned to Minnesota.
I'm working on trying to be there for the Friday BB game at Wrigley...trying to figure out how to break the news to Mrs. Buzz.
