I liked Amber's performance, Always liked "Say a Little Prayer", one of my favorite songs from Bacharach, especially since it reappeared with Quinn and the Cheerios, on season one of Glee

But it doesn't surprise me in the least, that you considered Candice's performance (she the beast -- in an exceptionally good, musical way) the best. I'll be tuning in early to Mr. Slezak's review.
I thought her first song was the second best.
It's one of the rare times I've felt emotional during an Idol performance. And she joins Haley in the ever so rare "sang it better than Adele" category.
I did like Amber's. I mean, none of the girls are usually ever bad. It's just I felt that Nikki went over board with the praise.

I was more impressed with Kree tonight than before and I really felt something from her performances tonight.
But honestly Candice brought her A game tonight and I'm really glad that everone else there was as impressed as I was because that was pretty special.

Wow Candice was amazing
. Her cover of the cure/Adele song is up there with HOTRS and Fantasias Summertime for me. I cant stop watching it. It was vocally mesmerizing and passionate and I agree that she even sung it better than Adele.RE: American Idol 2013 - Haleylvr4evr - 04-10-2013
If I was on Idol the song I would've done tonight for a song I wish I wrote would be "Let yourself be beautiful" if it was officially released.
But I can't sing so no!

It is my belief that if an audience connects with the song and singer the longest standing ovations follow that performance... Candice connected with audience BIG TIME tonight!!

If people are still voting for him at this late date out of sympathy then hopefully if they really care about him they'll let him go and not vote for him because at this point he's become an embarassment for himself-and everyone else,including the judges and the other contestants and the show itself.
Its not the same situation as with Pia but if a girl is eliminated tonight I can see the same kind of reaction as when Pia was eliminated.
