Earlier, I stopped by Indiegogo and selected "Music." The default selection was "Most Popular" and Haley's video project was on page 1 at the top, in the #3 slot.

Yeah, that whole situation seems odd. He's been excited about that for a week.
I'd be more confident putting in the bid if there was more info about how this is going to go. I'd hate to put in the money then find out I can't make it.*
Also, if we get to see them film more of the video, that day, than just us showing up for half hour, doing our thing, then going home.

)*I have a friend that told me to contact him every time I think about going for it, so he can tell me not to do it lol. Let's face it, 1k could pay for two flights to see two Haley shows.

I imagine that you would see them film more of the video unless they change locations. I certainly think it will take more than half an hour. Given the "Dance n circus" theme, there is probably makeup and costumes involved.

I would seriously consider the video participation perk if I lived near Los Angeles, but kind of tough to do that and pay for flight/hotel/car from Maryland for several days, probably double the money easily. Then who knows if schedules change, etc, etc. But, it would be a very cool thing to see the production behind the scenes, in Hollywood, and be a part of the video. (But believe me, NO ONE wants to see my moves or dancing...lol) And of course, best part: get to meet Haley and her team for some time.
I actually saw a good idea for a perk on Twitter, and maybe she is considering it. But what if for say $100, Haley agrees to a 5 minute phone call/Skype/FaceTime with the donor? (Or $50 for 2 minutes...) So, if she does this, she sets some ground rules for what can or can't be discussed, but overall, I think she would get a lot of interest in that perk. And it really costs nothing for Haley, but some time. I know I would definitely do that.
Anyway, keeping hope alive that she hits her $30K goal. As noted, that did not look too good about a week ago, but damn...things are looking up!

I don't think it should automatically be assumed that the acrobatic stuff will be filmed at the same time/location as the "guest dancer" stuff, which could be done anywhere, including a hotel room, or even "green screening" it, to then be able to drop the guest dancers into any scene.
That's the type of clarification that would help decision making. If they plan to shoot most of the video in one day, same location, then certainly that would be worth it. But judging from the director's past projects, there's a fair chance that he'd require specific locations to execute his unique perspective, whereas filming fans dancing with Haley could take place anywhere.
(Oh and by the way, an African elephant will likely have better dance moves than "a Tusk"

This sounds like it's intended to be a stylistic production so it's a better bet that they would dress the "extras" up to fit in the background of the production than feature them as "guest dancers."

I know it could be a creative way of including the song title in the description, but it sure reads like dancing is a distinct possibility
Although what you suggest, getting the make up/costume treatment to be part of the circus atmosphere would be fun too
