Chiara's acct was there too (or maybe it was Haley using Chiara's acct)
I saw it earlier but didn't say anything, but she showed up when someone on the chat said they didn't know Casey's album was out. 'Chiara' posted a link to his album, I told 'Chiara' to say HI to Haley from her Haliens and she replied "

She's feeling ill and probably resting up, of course she would get some hot beverage and watch/support Casey. She couldn't log in on her own account without pulling away attention from Casey, so....
I think we Haliens did Haley proud in our support of her fellow jazzhead

I loved how Casey was like "pick a song", " pick an instrument", "electric or acoustic" and in a minute or two was playing the song. He seems like he loves to be spontaneous. That's probably what Haley likes about him too. he's fun!

I was full screen for almost all of the performance cuz I was recording so I didn't get to chat with you guys & Casey after our 90 minute fun chat before it started. No chance for a chatroom here Miguel?
It sure was cool that Casey started out mentioning Babbsie & Tusk!! I figured Haley had to be watching, someway, somehow... just like when Patti was using Angie's account to chat with us after the first Stage-It.

I was so surprised at how slow the chat room was during his show, like I had it on normal screen and I could actually see what everyone was saying! It wasnt staticy or bad stream either which was really good. He had a great show!

I just rewatched a bit of Haley's first Stage-It show and her Holiday Homecoming Show and in contrast to Casey's first Stage-It, Haley's was very well planned, entertaining, and of a very high quality. I luv Casey and bought his album which is great and saw him at his BGpalooza show which was very entertaining. I gotta say I was a bit disappointed last night. It wasn't very highly polished with a bit too much non-lyrical skatting, but that might be what many people love about Casey.

When I say this I'm not trying to be anti-Casey. But I was a little disappointed last night also. Maybe I was expecting more , it seemed like Casey was just playing by the seat of his pants nothing really thought out but spontaneous. And if that's the way he plays than okay maybe I was expecting a too much for his first appearance. Casey is good at what he does, and if there is a way that Haley and Casey can get together and put out a few jazz songs that would be phenomenal. They each have their own style and I believe that when they are singing together Haley really complements Casey and makes him dig down and concentrate.The scatting to me and this is my opinion was lacking. Who knows maybe Casey will be another Jimmy Buffett in a different time, and in a different place.
