"You Are A Fool Not To Watch “American Idol"
Quote:3. It makes new songs better.
Now, all right: Adele is a righteous talent on her own. Yes. But I’m telling you the first time I realized she was a bankable talent was when I heard Haley Reinhart wail “Rolling in the Deep” and revitalize her entire season 11 arc. When a contestant can find urgency and a sense of self within a new pop song, it proves he/she isn’t merely a trained pageant singer with a recycled repertoire; it proves we’re witnessing (forgive me) the potential for true artistry.

In retrospect, it's easy to remember all the "good parts" about how Haley sang Rolling In the Deep, but Haley needed a vocal coach to help her: http://haleyfans.com/showthread.php?tid=18..
Yes, it was Haley who did the singing, but in this case she needed some advice to make it what we viewers saw/heard.
RE: American Idol 2014 - Himm2 - 01-15-2014
I haven't fallen in love with anybody yet...but that's probably a good thing. (although that kid with the stagemom perked my interest but he's a guy so scratch himm off my list). Cheerleaders??!!?? 4 of 'em???!!?? "Oooo La La La La La LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Rolando Guerrero...oh my gosh what a freakin' trip! Leaving his tears on Ms. Jennifer Lopez shoulders. So far this season is hysterical!!!!!

Awesome !! Slezak is still in Love with our girl! and he picked our own ibleedcubbieblue26·'s (Blue22HR) upload. I'm in that video if you look real close when they pan the Arlington Racetrack crowd...."That's what 30,000 people look like, right there baby!"
RE: American Idol 2014 - Miguel - 01-15-2014
Slezak: Quote:Harry’s failure to automatically bow down every time a contestant throws in a crazy run (or turns a one-syllable word to 10). Exhibit A: His side-eye over Madelyn Patterson’s super-fussy rendition of “Up to the Mountain.” JLo and Keith oohed and ahhed as the 22-year-old destroyed everything simple and beautiful about the Patty Griffin tune, but Mr. Connick was having none of it. “Some people are easily impressed by licks,” he said, before getting cut off by She Who Tried to Suppress Haley Reinhart.

Michael Slezak, in his TV Line review of the first episode of AI 13, referred to JLo as Quote:She Who Tried to Suppress Haley Reinhart.

Oh, haha Miguel, we both posted at the same time!
RE: American Idol 2014 - mercfan3 - 01-16-2014
I don't even have to watch these shows..I can just read Slezak's reviews and watch the performances he likes. Exact same taste. And we both have an addiction to bluesy rocker chicks.
RE: American Idol 2014 - Babbs234 - 01-17-2014
Michael Slezak in his review of day 2 American Idol- still mentioning JLo treatment of Haley
Quote:I’m sure J.Lo will soon dance with the devil and sink her talons into a future Haley Reinhart or the producers will incentivize Keith into ignoring a Candice Glover-level talent.
talking about one of the contestants:
Quote:Also, it has to be said, the girl is so ridiculously stunning that she rivals even J.Lo in the beauty department. [Cue a "mirror, mirror" moment and the production of a poisoned apple somewhere on Jenny's high-priced block. Too mean? Not after how she treated Haley Reinhart! #NeverForget]

3rd review in a row w/ a Haley mention (love the haters squirming that Slezak loves our gal and will champion her to the bitter end )
Also, the funny editing and clips are back

That's just a great show. They're both funny and they're just biting enough in their criticism of Randy and J-Lo and the rest..I usually skip the first few rounds but seeing Harry on the panel now makes me want to watch.
