The notion of "using" Haley gets a little tricky. They booth stood to potentially gain. Of course, Irvin did use Twitter to invite Haley to perform with him, which immediately created buzz (not you Buzz). Perhaps Irvin was throwing some bait Haley's way to entice her to join the club △ (jazz community). He did sell a ticket to the show to Tusk and gained some visibility with new people.

It is my feeling that if you are musician you are always on the look out for compatible musical liaisons. I don't think this is a bad thing and it certainly gives all the artists involved exposure for future gig possibilities...
My contention is that musicians who love their craft will perform anytime and anywhere just for the sheer joy of it. It is not work when you love what you do...
And since I live in Washington I think I will put that it my pipe and smoke it.

This concept (other artists using Haley for broadening their appeal) would imply Slash & Myles Kennedy were using Haley in some respect too...however; I'm sure Haley did not see either of those opportunities as manipulation or being taken advantage of. Why shouldn't others in the industry recognize the extraordinary talent that we see in Haley...eventually they will all come around to the brilliance of our foresight!

Again? This is the first she has spoken on the subject. You may be mistaking Cherelann for MAE and consequently misinterpreting what she intended by "compatible musical liaisons."

Thank you, Miguel, for comprehending the gist of my post and Sir Buzz there are no one person symphony orchestras so I am saying collaboration is a good thing. Partnerships can coalesce and that is when beautiful music happens.
If Haley had not teamed up with Midnight for BG Days we would not have had that wonderful concert. Do I think Midnight was using Haley to further their own agenda? This performance happened because Harry and Patti taught Haley the value of cooperation and gave her skills she will be honing for the rest of her life with a variety of musicians...
And I believe that Haley is enjoying every minute of her musical journey so I offer the peace pipe and an opportunity to sign the peace treaty.

^ Miguel and Sweet C...you completely missed my points. I should have put a dashed line between the two comments. The first line was agreeing with what you stated Sweet C, and it finished with a little humor about your pipe smoking again.
The second part was referring to the same subject you were commenting on, which I believe MAE first brought up. I agreed with you on your points...Oh the Buzz is so misunderstood!
