Neara tweeted the other day about possibly going to a hair salon for the first time. Might that be an indication the band will be performing with Haley on Idol?

I'm hoping that Haley sings with the house band on Idol. I think they'd do a killer job for her.

Opening for Aerosmith would be a hoot and I think the crowd would be right for her.

I think they would too. Maybe her band and the Idol band will perform together. Lane: "I had some pretty amazing production calls for @HaleyReinhart's Idol performance"

Lauren Alaina recently recorded some backup vocals for an Aerosmith track so it appears Steven Tyler is thinking of the former Idols.

In retrospect, was that a reference to their physical appearance?


We were first tipped off to Neara by another keyboardist who said she got the job. She strikes me as an intelligent young woman with a grasp of the big picture. I think it's possible Neara feels Haley's career is about to take off and she can't commit to being her keyboardist because that role isn't aligned with her goal of being a singer/songwriter herself.

If the band performs on Idol in a week, I would feel better with Neara on the keyboard one last time.

As for the band, Haley called John Notto "my new guitar man" so I think she regards him as a permanent member. Courtney Leonard is the Music Director, so I don't think he's going anywhere. And I assume the same about the drummer, "Breezy."

I was looking forward to them gelling as a band. Was kind of predictable because they all have projects working, I mean, Courtney sounded like a pretty busy guy before he joined them in Vegas. Oh Well.
Hopefully they find a replacement as qualified and/or talented.
