DA YA THINIK ITS A HIT?? This song. Is is the undisputed version, if there is any skepticism, or doubt that this song will not make it to the top 40 in record time I beg to differ. I just love how her background vocals blend in with her natural singing ability. There was a lot of people on different sites that said free is going to tank and this is not anything that Haley would record. Once all the so-called experts get a taste of the song "FREE" there will be a change of heart. This Is the prelude to her album, I'm pretty much speechless at this point. It was a good call for her to do everything in her own time and not to rush, but to create a enjoyable listening experience I think she has done it.

Oh boy I have to say at first it was very jarring hearing the studio version after listening to the acoustic version so many times. I had waited for two hours and was SO excited when I heard the opening piano bit. But then by the end I was kind of disappointed. BUT wait! Once I listened to it again I started really hearing all the instruments and thought "this is amazing!!!" Haha I do believe that the second part of this song from the bridge onwards is absolutely stunning! Her voice really shines through then.

When I first heard her voice I was thinking "Auto-tuned, what!". But later in the song it's all Haley, through and through. Not quite as edgy, but that's what I expected-- her label is Interscope after all. I always expected a super radio friendly song for her first single, and that's what we got. I for one am very happy. Just hoping that it becomes a big hit on the radio. I wish I had thought about recording all of the comments (from the few of us left) when they started playing the song. Obviously, there was a lot of "OMG", "It's really her", etc, etc.

I love it. I can't wait to buy a bunch of copies of the real deal on late Monday night. The the chorus! The guitar!! The thumping piano towards the end!! The wedding bells sound-a-like?!!

Haha when I first hear the opening I had absolutely no words but I could feel my heart beating extremely fast. And apparently the sound we're hearing isn't auto tune but compression. Either way I wish it could be a little more raw. But considering I haven't stopped listening to it since I downloaded it I really don't have a problem! haha

Great song. Easily the best-ever debut from an idol. I think there is processing; echo, reverb, etc., but not tuned.
The only problem for us is we so love her pure voice, seems like anything else making noise during her singing is a distraction.
Few singers are like that and sound better to true fans live. She is fantastic.

Hold your pants on peeps it's not finished yet. We anticipated the single breaking we had little taste of that, Haley has played it in throughout her promotional tour so we know acoustically what it sounds like. I think it sounds sick with a full band. So now the real deal comes out this is a finished product but it's still not over, there is also the video the much anticipated video. So when you see Haley interpreting her song onto a video what more can you ask for? There's just a lot more to come. If it all came out once nobody would go to school or go to work we would be glued to our laptops.
