She belted out our anthem as no other could have. We know her parents and especially her grandparents, Sherry and Tink Richardson, are very proud of her and her accomplishments. I warn her on her love for American history; it is very addictive and time consuming, but well worth all the time spent with it. Bel, remember we are behind you all the way. We are encouraging everyone to go out and support her when she takes the stage at the city’s final Friday Night Live summer series event on Aug. 10.

Bell Richardson was chosen from the three remaining contestants by judges Jimmy Church and Rusty Tabor at last night's 4thFest activities. She will receive $500 and a gig at Friday Night Live in August. Thanks to all who participated, to our talented judges and to Daron Jordan for his hard work and support.
