I didn't expect nor did I (or anyone else) deserve your explanation. But thank you.As you mentioned in an earlier post, this will be a new part of Haley's journey, and if you'd missed it, you likely would have regretted it -- perhaps, for a long time.
I remember that interview of Ann and Nancy Wilson, before they were inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame . One of the things they mentioned was the fans who follow them around (and how astounded they (Ann and Nancy) have been by it.)
That's you with Haley. So to (minimally) paraphrase the smash hit of Robert Palmer's in the '80's, "might as well face it, you're addicted to Haley."
On a somewhat different topic (but not completely), just yesterday I was thinking about the song Don't Know Why in terms of it being a "standard." I'm not certain that it fits into that category yet, but it may set a record for becoming one. What a great song that is!

I met Midnight's keyboardist, Peter Spero, at the Shindig, who told me he learned some of Haley's songs from my videos, who happened to be married to the one woman I remember speaking to at Lollapalooza because I left my spot in the front row so as to not get distorted audio, by setting up on a hill where she was with her daughter... Peter ended up giving me audio and video which gave me another audio source to put together the BGDays videos
.... My new computer got a virus at Lollapalooza which prevented me from pre ordering Carnegie Hall tickets going on sale that morning, which caused me to contact HaleyHolic who happened to buy seats that put me directly in front of the Reinharts, the first time I met Haley's family, which led us to have a mini adventure backstage with Casey's parents, finding our way to Haley outside...

I donated a total of $205 for the campaign. (Not trying to brag or anything like that, just being honest).
Would love to spend $1,000 to be in the video, but financially, wouldn't be smart for me.
I got the $25 social media shout out, (I think I'm gonna choose Instagram, because seeing Haley shout me out on Instagram would make me so happy :-P)
Also the $30 hand written lyrics, because I think it's a cool once in a lifetime item to have from your favorite artist.
And lastly, $150 special thank you video. It's a lot of money for me to spend, but I just got my vacation check from work, and I could afford it. I think I'd regret not having it.
I'm one who loves taking videos of everything in life, and to have a video, of Haley Reinhart herself personally thanking ME...oh man. I couldn't resist. Will cherish if forever
That being said, I am SO SO happy Haley is so close to her goal, still with many days left.
We are a patient bunch of fans, but am so so excited for the music video and what's still to come.

Haha yeah I saw that! He DM'd me about it. Not sure how it works for the credits, he did pay but he said he requested to have my name in the credits instead. Not sure if he actually knows my last name or not, but he said good luck. Regardless if it works, it's so generous. Makes me happy that I make enough other people happy to want to do such nice things for me!
