And I too am jealous of all you who are going to Vegas.I would love to see Haley there. It is one of my secret wishes to go if Haley appears there again.

Speaking of being introverted, under normal circumstances I would never approach a celebrity or such and start talking to them. Looking back now I'm still amazed that on that first night at the Cosmo I walked right up to the stage and chatted with Keith and Haley. I mean, yeah sure, I had begun sipping that nice vodka tonic, but still... There is just something about Haley that put me at ease right away. Amazing.
Having other Haliens around was definitely great as well. Had I been on my own I'm certain I never would have been invited to share after show drinks with Haley (that was due to Pat). Also, hanging out at the table with other Haliens allowed me to build my nerve and eventually work my way around to Haley's couch (with Pat as my buffer) and get to tell her some stuff I had always wanted to.
Let me tell you, sitting there sharing post-show drinks with Haley was the very definition of surreal. It didn't seem like it was really happening, even though I was sitting right there. LOL. I remember saying to Yanni, "We're like gods now!" It felt like it at the time.

This is the reason I was divided between the Cosmo and the Halien Party. Himm2 is providing a tremendous opportunity for Haley’s fans to mingle and interact with each other in various events and activities to really get to know each other as well as to meet Haley and her family. I will miss that camaraderie and it appears a lot of Haliens will be there, many regulars to this site that I would like to meet including Himm2, Miguel, Babbs, NUG, Haleylvr4evr, Bonjojet, just everyone who is going that posts here.
But I have to admit, I cannot miss seeing Haley in an intimate atmosphere that is conducive to her jazzy styling.
By the way Tusk, you are such a good conversationalist that I am surprised that you are introverted.

There was a time all I talked about was religion and/or politics .... So believe me, it's a blessing, for me (and the World) that Haley has diverted those 'energies' ....

ISCAT, you are going to have the time of your life! The previous Cosmo shows are my favorite live Haley performances to date, it is a nice place and she gets to play for multiple nights and really mix it up, jazz, LU songs, idol stuff, plus whatever else she decides to surprise us with. And you will have quite a few HaleyFans with you to make the experience even better. I'm planning on attending Friday and Saturday myself.

Lol, I remember that Swan. I also remember after Haley left, post-drinks, we both said, "Did that just really happen?"

Well, strictly speaking, Miguel's rule is "no politics." However, frequently politics and religion mix. Fortunately, Haleyfans seem to have recognized that overlap and avoided the obvious confrontation that could ensue.

Just checked the Cosmopolitan web site again for Complimentary Events and still no Haley listed for August 15-17. The Chandelier Room is where I believe she played last time and there is no one listed playing there. Hopefully that will be updated soon....
I would think that that the Cosmo would promote her appearance as I am sure she would be a draw to fans who are in town, especially for a free show.....
