OMG, one of my Facebook friends shared this video!! So excited to see someone ELSE in my small circle find this video! When I first saw it, I did a double-take since I didn't remember sharing it and it always seemed like I was the fan. I thinks it's really great for Haley's career to be involved with this group that has no Idol association (great for Casey too). Nothing against AI, but I think it is attracting people would never consider watching a video from an Idol contestant.

Would really love it if the national media discovered the vid and put the group on TV!!

I'm thinking there's a good possibility there might be Idol participation in future PMJ productions, Melinda Doolittle and Joey from this Season's contestants (at least Scott is aware of them and acknowledged them). I can see him rewarding Joey for mentioning them on Idol, plus her kind of quirkiness can really play into something Scott might enjoy working with

I wouldn't be surprised if Scott works with other former Idol contestants, especially now that he is based out of LA. Their performances are on tape and they have experience on the big stage.

But I'm with you Jastal, it's time for some big media to feature PMJ. Idol would be smart to do that, perhaps using the widely popular AATB. Joey has already performed Scott's arrangment on the show and it was popular, and the song would feature two former top ten contestants in Haley and Casey. Of course, with Joey still on the show or possibly voted off it might raise concerns for the producers.

Jastal, I'm delighted that the video has found its way to you on FB. Another confirmation that it is exploding on FB. Wink

That would be/will be great when MindyDoo can do something with PMJ. (For some, perhaps selfish, reason I'm hoping this would be the "jam" that Melinda & Haley do, per Mr. Slezak's suggestion.)

Somehow, I wonder about Joey. Yes, the quirkiness would fit in. However, from the PMJ videos featuring a "songstress," Scott seems to have gone with women who have exceptional voices. And while Joey has an unusual voice, it's most certainly not along the lines of, well Haley, Morgan, Ariana, Robyn, to name a few.

Exposure, exposure, Exposure! The Kai Kamai video upload continues to chug along. It was peaking earlier today, and it is still getting Likes and the rest at a pace as fast as it was yesterday. It is currently getting about 20 Likes per minute. I wouldn't be surprised if it tails off overnight, but who knows?

The whole thing is also validated by reports from a couple of Haliens that they have received the video link from friends on FB, independent of their Halien history. Nice!

In addition, the jump up the charts of this song (#1 on jazz chart), the other AATB version, and other PMJ songs (notably including the old Creep recording), suggest a real surge in interest involving Haley as well as PMJ. I guess the next step is to keep it rolling and to capitalize on it.
