Completely! What a tease for the rest of the album. It's gonna be a long three months. The video is really fantastic. She hit the 'you sing sexy' into the stratosphere.
As for the song, all I can say is: Wow. Just Wow.
Love the horns. Her vocals are incredible and the closest to a 'live' Haley Reinhart performance she's ever recorded. Simply amazing.

I missed out on the festivities, Morgan James was in town and I got to see two shows for the price of one....but as soon as I got home I tweeted about pre-ordering the single, then a few minutes later....

This is not the type of internet response we're used to....I didn't tag them or Haley, but someone at Concord is on the ball watching for hashtags in the social media........we are definitely entering a new chapter in Haley's career....and the future's so bright etc etc etc

OMG!!! I couldn't be happier today! Pre-ordered What's That Sound first thing this morning and have been listening to BIY on repeat during my 50 minute train ride into work. (With a few video views thrown in for good measure....which is absolutely incredible BTW!) I think I'm currently on replay number nine. Probably will reach triple digits before too long.
September 22nd can't get here soon enough! It's great to be a Halien!!!

It took a little bit of searching and scrolling to find it on Amazon but it is there!
(I've got an aversion to itunes... Amazon treats it like you own the music.. not only rent it)
You own "Baby it's you" immediately with the purchase of the pre-order of the Album there at Amazon (maybe it's the same at itunes?)

I'm glad I am not the only non-itunes person here!
I first bought the single on Amazon because it did not list the album, later I actually did find the album, pre-ordered it as well, and voila, surprise: they deducted the price of the single from the album price, nice! So it even works in that order ...
Too bad there is no way to find out what pre-orders were like in day 1.
Would be fun to monitor.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding the issue, once it's downloaded to your computer from Itunes onto your computer, it is a file that sits in your computer, there's no 'renting'....I just looked at mine, it's not an MP3, it's an M4A file, but I can right click it and play it on a non iTunes player, like a Windows Media Player or VLC....
Maybe you don't know where to find the download on your PC? You have to find your music folder, where your players go to find the music you play on your PC...here's how I navigate to the audio files I bought from iTunes (on my PC not a mac or Apple)
Open Folder, chose "this PC", then click the drive your data is on, usually it's C Drive.
Then in "C" Drive, chose "Users" chose the name you open your desktop with, mine is the "Tony" file. Then Click "Music". Click the "iTunes" folder, then "iTunes Media" Then click "Music".
In the "Music" file, you will see folders w/ Artists names of the songs you bought, so in this case, chose the "Haley Reinhart" folder. Open that and there will be folders w/ the album names of the songs you bought, in this case, you want to click open the one called "What's That Sound" The audio (m4A) file should be in that folder as well as the album image....
So this is the summary of the path to the iTunes audio file:

Then you can right click the audio file and chose what ever media player you want...it's not necessary at all to involve Apple after your purchase. As far as I know, you can load it onto a flash drive, do anything you want with it, load it onto your phone?
A caveat is, Apple does keep your purchases in the iCloud, so if you log onto iTunes on another computer, you might be able to play the songs on with internet, but you would have to download it again if you want it on the new PC you're using. Warning, Apple allows 5 players to have this access, so don't download it from their storage willy nilly....it is a file, and you can move it whenever you want....
I buy from ITunes and have always played it on my PC, only just bought an iPhone, so you see? no Apple player needed.

The Jacques and James conversation is a good find.
I feel like FB has crippled my "latest" searches the last few days. I only get a few results. They removed the "latest" search from the navigation menu some time ago, but it still worked if you entered the characters for it in the address bar. edit: The crippled search just seems to be for when I search for things related to Haley. It still returns lots of results for a search like "Carrie Fisher."
