Some of the thumbs down are probably from fans of other PMJ performers who are disturbed by the attention Haley gets. In that way, performing with PMJ as part of its rotating cast of singers is like being on Idol again.

The difference between this video and the yacht video is night and day: the arrangement, the musicians, Haley's voice, Haley's stage presence; she is truly something now--and that's saying a lot considering how special she already was!

A bit of Deja vu for me, I remember a couple years ago, posting how I'd love to hear Haley perform Weezer's Island in the Sun, a couple days later, at CityWalk, Caley perform it on Stage, then same with "Don't Know Why, at the private party...now, just a few days ago, I profess to having a soft spot for Haley's cover of Love Fool with the Rastitutes, then voila, a studio/video of the song with PMJ!!

I'm not saying I predicted it in any way, I am saying that I love how similar my tastes are with Haley's that I get to hear her perform some of my personal favorites within days of musing about her singing the song Smile

Still holding out hope that some day she will perform Side 2 of Abbey Road, the medley HeartCool

She's definitely enjoying it.I think its interesting that they would not only include a harp in this arrangement but also put her up front in the video.The whole thing gives it a kind of a "Hollywood" feel to it.Its the little things that Scott Bradlee does that that help make his stuff so distinctive.

I wonder if Haley might have stumbled onto a sweet spot with "Creep" and "LOVEFOOL" by picking songs from the 1990s. Many of the people who follow PMJ might fall into a certain age demographic that strongly identifies with songs from that era.
