That said, I do not think Quinten is up to Haley standards as a single accompanying musician. He seems to have trouble with timing, finding the right key or something, and losing or obscuring the melody. Something.
Yes,I was thinking the same and personaly I prefer Keith to perform with her IMHO

The quality of your audio and video work in this set is really remarkable, Tusk! As Haliens, we owe you so much.
While I'd also prefer a full band, as a first introduction into the world of Haley's vocal prowess (as many in the audience probably experienced), this is about as good as it gets. There's something very powerful about Haley and 'just a piano'.
I particularly loved how her lengthy scatting in My Cake pulled in the crowd and setup their reaction to the rest of the set. In the Halien 'lexicon', I wonder how many first WTF Moments she earned that night?? The number of really high notes she effortlessly hit was just crazy.

For the radio tour, probably will just be Haley and Quinton. I agree with those that love Haley and a full rocking band (Buffalo Grove or PMJ) but I don't expect that for the short term.
My hope is that if Haley is able to tour this summer behind "Better", that she will get a band together, and I would hope that it would involve Casey. Casey and his band could open, then Haley could join them for some fun banter, etc and some songs, then Haley could do a full set with Casey's band backing her up. My name for the tour: "Beauty and The Beard". They could do smaller clubs and build momentum for bigger venues down the road...

As much as it'd be an amazing and successful endeavour, It's my opinion both Haley and Casey, at this time, want to see where they can go on their own volition, with the occasional collaboration project
They've got time to tickle their Jazz Duo fancy, further down the road if they want.
I can't say enough how I love that Michael Slezak is an #OGHalien, he waves that flag loud and proud
Sure other Idol critics have written about the Idol injustices brought on Haley, but Michael has put Haley at the front, been in full support, verbally, litterally, and yes financially.. don't forget he bought into SMYM video, has promoted her PMJ collaborations, on top of sneaking in references to her projects every once in a while whilst doing his job

Haley: "...it's actually a Blind Faith song ... we'll do the Traffic version..."
LOL, leave it to Haley.
I guess it means there is no Eric Clapton to do the shredding.
A few years ago Steve Winwood had a contest for covers of CFMWH.
The winner
Haley could have put something real nice together I'm sure.

I knew it was special, I'd say CHFIL & LIWFF are the best of the set, but CFMWH is next best, but I really love how smooth and just 'gorgeous' that 30 second scat/run she does near the end, such a delicate vocal touch
Of all the videos from this show I've tweeted out, it's this one that Haley retweeted (she also liked the playlist too )

Much much thanks for the Portland videos of Haley, Tusk. Outstanding and great view! What a fantastic show! I’m so glad we are hearing originals from Haley again. Reinforces the reasons I love her music so much with the touches and feeling she places on them. I truly appreciate this set list, all of my favorites. Love Is Worth Fighting For is at the top for me even above My Cake and Haley’s scatting. The audience really gets into the title track and makes me realize it will be enthusiastically accepted. Haley’s phrasing in Good or Bad particularly this performance is a prime example of why I am drawn to her. The audience reaction to Haley and her reaction back is fun to watch.
My two number one songs that Haley covers are now Can’t Help Falling in Love and has always been Can’t Find My Way Home. So to hear both in one concert is heaven. The little scat run in CHFIL was impressive and then the way Haley takes it to another level in CFMWH is beyond words. Haley’s musical ideas are amazing. Thanks again Tusk for recording this.
Also thanks for the detailed and exciting recaps including InItToWinIt’s, an enjoyable read. It sounds like you guys had a great time beyond all expectations which is par for the course in Tusk’s Haley experiences.
