The new AATB is at #9 on the iTunes Jazz chart. The Kate Davis AATB version is at #12. Kind of surprising that Scott would mess with that song since the old version is the one PMJ song that consistently is near the top of the chart. Habits is #33. (Things are pretty fluid on the jazz chart.)

^^I thought that very thing too. It will be interesting too see how it does long term - it will not get the buzz like the first one in my opinion - but Scott has a strategy and thus far has been pretty successful. Gotta believe he is trying to tap more into the overseas market but who knows.

It would be hard to match the uber success of the first AABT, which is the second most viewed PMJ video (more than 11 million views since Sep 2014). The one with slightly more views was released 12 months earlier.
Nonetheless, this current AATB is doing extremely well. Habits didn't get 10K Likes until the 8th day after release, AATB got there in a day and a half. Habits didn't get to 100K views until it had been out more than 48 hours, AATB got their in 16 hours. It is day two and AATB has already reached 200K views, while Habits took more than a week to get there.
Habits is still one of the stronger releases by the PMJ. It should get to a million views within a week. BTW, it currently ranks around 55-60 in views for PMJ videos, but will continue to climb the PMJ hits chart.
I think the video gave Scott another opportunity to highlight Haley's vocals, as well as the nice harmonies of these three talented women. It generates a little more buzz for the tour and some insurance that they will sell out in London. As well as some additional revenues from iTunes and YT.

I totally agree. Double edged sword for me - love she is touring, I love jazz Haley, she is getting her name out there on a dime. Habits rocks - she is making some money while gaining exposure. But she needs to have her own brand / identity - hard to grasp and it is a crazy business but fun to follow.

Sounds like Ostrava is an industrial town with a past history of coal mining and steel production. Population of about 325,000. Probably a great town for PMJ to rock.
