I've given plenty of "benefit of the doubt", but it sure looks like we were forgotten, that except for my asking around, we might have been excluded completely....
Remember she told Yanni and Babbs she was going to "take care of us"...only weeks ago? How could we be forgotten already?
I even wonder if there was even a thought what our part was in it? That none of her partners in this seem to be helping her, not even alerting her to this oversight.... It's her name on this but shame on them not doing more to help her
and to say just because you can 'afford' to donate $1k means you shouldn't expect being treated with some respect,at least the courtesy of reasonable notice is really not the point, is it?
I still hope for the best, that it will work out, but how can we not say this is very disappointing?

It seems disappointing.
But, it's also possible that you jumped the gun and the day she's starting shooting isn't the day you guys need to be there, but that's really giving the benefit of the doubt. But I will say, before we get upset..let's see how it plays out. For all you know, on Tuesday of next week, she could send you all an email saying the date of filming for you guys is a month from now etc..
But assuming this is a bad oversight. My first thought is Haley really needs official management. She probably has a million things going on right now. She's got the video, we know she's writing music, we know she's either looking to sign with new management or looking to make it official, we know she's looking for a label, we know she's distributing out gifts from the video campaign. (Which makes it strange that she'd forget to let people know.) And that's just what we know she's doing. There's probably a lot more going on in her career right now that we aren't aware of.
That's a lot for one person to be doing. And having a team behind her would really help her manage all of this and not forget things, or do things last minute..or put her on some sort of schedule.

The shoot was slated to be the 21st, I know more than I'm saying...

Given all this, I follow her for her voice, and the person I believe she is, the family that's nurtured her. I have significant 'organizational' issues as well, things that people don't give a second thought about doing, I struggle with being consistent doing, an effort to do..... So I'm not one to judge.
Luckily, getting competent management who know their job is to support her, take care of the minutiae, so she can be who she can be... that is an easy fix. Hopefully she finds a really good one soon

I think there hasn't been any contact made yet because there's no firm date. And there's no firm date because they are flying by the seat of their pants.
It seems to me like DanniG is running the show -- not Scott Rhea -- with a possible assist from Ari's production company. That would mean there's not an experienced video director at the helm.
Danni appears to have many irons in the fire. Haley too. And, most likely, it was only very recent that they got together to coordinate anything (he didn't even know she was in Mexico).
If they are relying in large part on help from friends and associates, the shooting schedule is even less likely to be set in stone.
That may very well be the case given Haley's experience as a participant/coordinator in/of Casey's most recent video and what would appear to be a hasty change in dates for the SMYM shoot.
If so, problems may arise when people they are depending on -- not just those coming from far away -- have trouble making the date.
I work on marketing projects for a living. Everything revolves around the schedule. Everything:
"We do this on this date, we need you to make a decision by this date, after that, on this date, we'll move on to X, we'll need your approval of X by this date...blah, blah, blah...any delay will move the launch date back."
Every client meeting ends with them asking, "what are the next steps," or the agency volunteering them.
In sum, Haley may be looking at this as a fun project, but there's a reason why large companies pay professionals to do such things.
It's not my intent to bash Haley here. I'm just pointing out that both she and Danni are relatively inexperienced when it comes to such things.

I agree, I think Haley has a lot on her plate right now and that is probably why this hasn't been as coordinated as it could have been. I'm sure she didn't forget about the very generous donations she received, when I talked to her about the video shoot she seemed very excited about making the vid and having Haliens in the vid with her. If anything, it boils down to poor planning, which, as merfan stated, can be easily fixed with a solid team and management behind her.

Too bad we didn't get notice and make it on the 21st, that would have been the 2 year anniversary of when I went to the Hard Rock Hollywood to see Haley for her "Listen UP!" debut eve. Juanita posed as my 'girlfriend' so we could get in line w/ an elderly couple of fans willing to be my 'parents'
Little did I know, all the Haliens that were also there, Rachel, Julien, Stephanie, Francesca... even Greg and Mona brought a crew with them. Who knew all the times we'd actually meet the next two years LOL
Heck, if it had been on the 21st, (dreaming mode) we might have got Haley to get us into the AI Finale
..... now that would have been memorable

That would have been truly cool. Has there been any word if Haley will be performing at the finale, or if she will only be in attendance?

... all I can say is Harry said she was invited and was "Strongly advised" to attend (according to that interview, she didn't think she was going to go, but to make the 'after party')... This must have happened the day after?
He didn't say by whom, but I'm hoping that she gets to at least publicize the upcoming video
