Nope as Haley herself can confirm James' own wedding wasn't that complicated. He did get to do a duet with Geoff Tate that night, that was rad. Aww, posts like this make me all gooey inside. ![]() They really did turn this Xmas classic into something fresh and took it up quite a few notches on the fun meter. The drummer is a beast and one hell of a showman. His name is Jeff Fabb and he's one of the best metal drummers in the biz. The guitarist is Blake Bunzel, both are former members of the metal band In This Moment. Blake is actually a rhythm guitarist but appears to be playing lead on this track. I'm not entirely sure but if that's the case I'm really impressed and severely underestimated his abilities. When James was touring Blake was mostly in Dylan Rosenberg's (James' former lead guitarist) shadow. James played bass on this track as he longer has a bassist. I'm impressed with the job he did on bass here, as to my knowledge he never played bass before this. His father was a bassist so I'm not surprised he picked it up so quickly, he has a knack of mastering new things really quickly. I don't know if James will hire replacements for Dylan and Tyler before he tours again, he hasn't addressed the issue yet, but this trio seems to be strong enough on their own so it might not be necessary. I'm really excited to hear what they've been cooking up, and can't wait for them to get back on the road, new YouTube vids of new songs, yippee!!! ![]() PS: It's now a free download on Amazon mp3: http://www.amazon.com/gp/r.html?R=2NUXVYU2FP1N6&C=3EFTEFW0RGPDI&H=SIJJICQ4HT15UXAYCNLZ4BMUZZYA&T=C&U=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fdp%2FB00A3AX9GO%2Fref%3Dpe_185560_27267920_pe_vfe_dt1 RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Outcast - 12-13-2012 James did a Ustream chat with fans the other day with Cricket and Mauve Music. I missed it but I found this recap by another fan at MJs: Quote:The Ustream chat with James was great, he was at home with Heidi and Hunter and they made an appearance towards the end. The webcam wouldn't work so we couldn't see him and he was ticked off about that and said it felt awkward, like he was doing a radio interview. He answered some questions about the new album, collabs, ect. and a lot of questions about music he likes and wrestling related questions. There was plenty of humour too, and I almost died laughing a few times such as: Quote:...Oh one more thing I forgot to mention, he said there'll be bonus tracks on the new album. http://www.mjsbigblog.com/idol-headlines-for-121112-the-evening-edition.htm RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Outcast - 12-19-2012 Another StageIt show goody!
