So, this may not mean anything...but Beatrice Miller (the "Haley" girl on X Factor) tweeted earlier today:

So, the Twitterverse responded as that is a line from "Hit The Ground Running".... so maybe she is considering that song to perform? I don't watch the show, so not sure if it works like Idol. It would be great if someone covered Haley on X Factor, or The Voice...what a boost.

I think that because she's got Lesbian moms was a reason she didn't get enough votes also. Her parents are 'staying together' for their daughters (Beatrice's sisters are adopted vietnamese twins), but it's obviously weighing heavily on poor 13 yr old Beatrice, who thinks she has the weight of her family's future on her shoulders to succeed.
When they asked her for final words at her elimination, she just said she wanted to say "I'm sorry" to her family

Yeah that was sad, i loved Beatrice, she was my favorite.
Hopefully she puts out stuff on youtube, or even better a CD

The Xfactor really rubs me the wrong way with its emphasis on the back stories, emotionally toying with contestants etc . I suppose a bit of that is a necessary evil of reality TV but ... well it seems like contestants are almost selected exclusively for their back story.. and that the judging and stuff is done to exacerbate the human pain.
And, talented or not, using 13 year olds strikes me as having so many of the risks with child labor involved... especially given the central emotional torture and grinding schedule inherent in this type of show.
At the same time, I do think she is a true talent and it rubs me wrong for her not to stay when lesser artists do hang around..... but ... well I said enough.

Now that I've seen her talent, I might not mind paying to watch her perform from the saftey of her own home...and of course the hook to a favorite artist of mine legitimately old enough to spend their life working their tails off after a decently complete education is especially true.
I wonder, If covered a few Haley songs, would that atrtact more than a few dozen of us motley crew of die-hards to pay to hear her?
Do a couple covers Beatrice and try to latch onto another fan base from the interest and goodwill it develops?

IMO this was one of the top two or three performances of the XF2 Season
So much depth and emotion in that short performance

I really liked that Beatrice performance. Not fond at all of the ratio of Singing/rhersing to external factors though... typical xfactor .... of course any reality show will have some back stories to them.. and I don't mind at all hearing about the preparation involved for a given performance during the week... ... but so much about how people are feeling .. ...

Lyric is really talented. Although, I don't think she's as good as Astro.
I was said Bea left too. I really liked Arin too, but he never gave a great performance. (I thought he was capable of doing it though..)
And yea, Bea looks like she could be Haley's little sister.
