Apparently the 12th Man travels well, the Safety that began the game occured because both Peyton and his center couldn't hear because of crowd noise. Several reporters said it was one of, if not THE loudest Superbowl crowd they'd heard.

So, as you might remember, Harry sent me an email before the Seahawks Superbowl to wish them luck and tell me he'd been rooting for them, (I sent him a Conference Champions hat) then congratulations for when they won... At the time, I jokingly threw in "Next Up, Mariners World Series" Tongue

You may or may not know, the Mariners have been irrelevant, if not awful for over a decade. The last 10 years they've been out of any post season hopes by August. This Year, they've gone beyond any and all expectations and are one of the hottest teams down the stretch. They own the second wild card slot and are two games away from getting the 1st spot, which gives them home field for the one wild card game to get into the playoffs.

playoffs are not in hand, but like I said, they're usually way out of contention at this point for over a decade, so it's very exciting.

When I had a chance to talk baseball with Harry at the last private party, he gave me the honor of saying he loves talking baseball with people who know their stuff about it. Within that 15 minute or so talk, he mentioned that Seattle has a beautiful ball park, Safeco Field, and he'd love to visit it some day.

Well, I just emailed Harry a well wish for Angie's pending travels and to offer, that IF, LONGSHOT, the Mariner's make the World Series, he has an open invitation to come up here and see a game with me Big Grin

I know, DREAM BIG.... but, still #GOMARINERS Wink

Good Luck with your Mariners Tusk. Harry & I might as well root for them since the Chicago Teams are only dreaming about the future as they play their minor leaguers.

As far as the Seahawks go, I have RB Marshawn Lynch, WR Percy Harvin & Kicker Steven Hauschka on my fantasy team and they have already done quite well for me in only the first game.
