I had amazing timing on my two drives today listening to the Pulse on XM Radio. I was heading to a client appointment before going to the White Sox Game and Haley's BIY got replayed this morning, and then upon leaving the Ballpark it again came on this afternoon. I recorded it both times today while I was driving (illegally) holding a cellphone. I have it uploaded to somewhere other than the blockers on Youtube.
After my nighttime listen, I now have two more morning & afternoon listens:

I mastered using a hybrid digital/analog signal path using UAD Precision mastering plugins and real, 1960's vintage Scotch 202 analog tape. Great songs, great performances, and a great recording if I do say so myself! Enjoy!

Steve Meador Will do. Bill Schnee is one of the best recording engineers and these are his sounds, too. They tracked this to 24 track, two-inch analog at Sunset in LA where many of the original songs were recorded. John Burk from Concord produced and got some wonderful arrangements and performances. Haley's version of White Rabbit, Can't Find My Way Home (Blind Faith), and Time Of The Season are stand outs for me. She also brings some great attitude to These Boots Are Made for Walking, Nancy Sinatra's campy hit.

He doesn't post to FB very often. His last post prior to this was from December noting he "received a Grammy nomination in the Best Engineered non-classical category." In another story I found, he said masters over 120 albums a year for Concord. So to call this one out is special.
The same story noted Concord acquired the company he worked for, and he was the only person they retained. He's based in Cleveland. Or was at the time of the writing.

He definitely doesn't post a lot and I think his post is a nice nod to Haley and the people behind this record. In the December post he also notes that nine albums he mastered or mixed had been nominated for various Grammy awards, in addition to his engineering nomination.

There is some truly amazing musicianship in these performances that has influenced generations of musicians who followed. I'm so grateful that we have high quality recordings of moments like this in our musical culture, and I feel truly honored to be able to contribute to their preservation.

Notable that he felt comfortable linking to "Baby It's You" even though it wasn't one of the standouts he listed. A special project for a special talent, so it seems.
