I never quite understood the allure of Vevo to the general audience but from a marketing standpoint it is doing a great job of exposing her to fans of other artists.

Woah! Last time I checked it said there were around 6,000 views. Now, if you look up Haley Reinhart on Youtube and see it posted w/out clicking on it, it says that there are about 55,000 views in one day! Damn!

If you just look up Haley Reinhart on youtube and see the link to the music video w/out clicking on it, it says 55,210 on the bottom. That's closer to the real view count than the 6,000ish that Youtube seems to be stuck on when you click on it.

That number hasn't changed in a while either. So the views are higher.

I thought the difference was Vevo was available in countries sometimes when YouTube was blocked. Some comments indicate it might be higher quality. So I don't know if it's a combination of those things or if they are both true.

Just need to people to buy now. You would think these tech companies would have things configured by now to entice people to buy while listening. Do they? I use an ad blocker.

Digging the international audience Haley has. In the long run, that is what will make her huge.

Earlier tonight, I was thinking about how it sucked that crap music was all the rage now. But then I thought, it's actually better for Haley because she's one of the few in the public eye making music the "traditional" way.
