- James will NOT be playing bass in the band, he's says he's too crazy and likes to run around too much on stage and the bass needs to ground the whole band. (Yay!) No word on who will be playing bass.
- Blake and Jeff are still the band, he hopes to see Jeff while he's in NYC writing even more songs for the new album, and even get him in the studio. No exact date for album release. He also didn't say how long he'd be in NYC.
* Best lol moment: He says he's been working on a punk/metal growl/scream (he previewed a little) Nice.

No, and since I couldn't ask any questions I was pissed no one else asked either!
He was very vague even about who he was in NYC (at Wind-Up headquarters I presume) to write with. But he says he's staying at an apartment and already went grocery shopping (& was surprised he found his favorite beer here on the east coast, lol), so maybe he's planning on being there a while.

Bringing his music to the masses.... I have yet to still hear any S10 Idol's music 'in public' or on the radio, here in the NW, except for James.
They've played "Stand Up" during every Mariner game I attended last season (once per game and in between innings)...

Wow Tusk that's really interesting. Guess NW isn't big on country otherwise you would've surely heard Scotty's music. I hear that Stand Up is still being played in various sports stadiums around the US. Sports songs tend to be used for years.
I guess the WWE were happy with James' work in their Be a STAR campaign and felt he earned the opportunity to record the new Wrestlemania theme. He must be so excited, I'm really happy for him and proud of him.

I think they are 'young country' up here, but then again, I don't listen to country music, so very possible they've played Scotty, It's just not in my sphere of attention.
Many of the 'rock' stations up here seem still in the '90's "Grunge" era as, more than likely, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains will be on the radio, even Hole gets airplay up here....
I should qualify, that, before Haley, I stopped listening to 'music' radio stations as much as I once did, and switched over to Sports or News talk radio (a story I've noticed many of Haley's older fans tell, as well).
I'd gotten tired of searching for music that did anything for me in the current landscape. I had begun going back and listening to music of my youth and early adulthood for my music.... So I'm not really one to ask about the trends in music in the Northwest.
When I do listen to rock music stations up here, they do tend to be stuck in the '90's and early 2000's though....
