Sorry peeops I had to pull the plug on the Chi town gig.No biggie I got to see Hales at city walk and Vegas. Don't cry for me lol . After this weekend I'll have the Vegas vids In full HD Yanni will help me with the set up.

Babbs, this makes me laugh because I am totally freaking out as well. I've been practicing singing my Haley songs but....I just realized the reason I know them so well and sing them so "good" is because I'm singing WITH HALEY IN MY CAR. Singing alone, with no backup, in a back yard with a bunch of new people has me a bit freaked out. I was just thinking, " I hope all those boys bringing and setting up the stuff plan on singing first!" To give me time to have a beer or 3

There will be nice prizes for these party games. I'm asking Haley to autograph these award labels and I'm mounting them on DVD cases with a 4 hour DVD of Haley's journey to stardom inside to the winner:

I'm still deciding the best way to do the Karaoke thing. It will be when Haley is not in our audience. I don't want her to see how badly we muck up her songs. Maybe we'll have duets with the audience picking the better of the two that will move on to the next round until a final winner gets the confetti and a million dollar recording contract with Interscope. Oh...Guess I went too far there. If it's a duet you won't have to feel so self-conscious especially if your opponent sucks worse than you do!
Name That Tune will feature the instrument tracks of Listen Up songs as provided by Bonjojet's Karaoke with flash cards of the song titles to hold up and if you're wrong you sit down until we have the last person standing as the audio gets shorter and shorter.
Hula Hoop will be a duet thing also. If your hoop hits the ground first you're out until there's a last person standing...all performed with Haley's songs playing the background.

This (see bolded sentence), Sir Himm, is a wise decision. Not only will Haley not be around to see (hear) "how badly we muck up her songs," but it will also relieve pressure to those who feel emboldened enough to try (pre-alcoholic libation/liberation).
And for those intending to participate -- and use a bit of alcohol to fortify your courage, -- if I may offer some advice: know your limits. By that I mean, know how much you need to release the inhibitions/ nervousness but still not embarrass yourself for a different reason. Just a thought....
