When I saw that I wondered if Billboard had it expected the video today. Kind of anticlimatic to have to work your way over to hear a sample. Billboard has 2.95 million followers on Twitter and gets pick up by lots of other sites. It will be interesting to see if SNA can get to #1 without a video up.

This one feels just as epic as Creep, to me. While I LOVE Lovefool and Oops! - they aren't as easy to listen to over and over and over as Creep and SNA are. To me anyway.

I agree completley NUG... I am trying hard to keep it fresh before the video but it is difficult. I wonder if Scott released the Album on iTunes before some of the video's partly to see if helps to increase sales - tempting those who might not buy if they can listen to the video.

I think SNA is up there in the Creep epic zone (I'd put it a little behind Creep) and there are a lot more people interested in Haley's music now than a few months ago when Creep and the ever popular AATB Euro version were released. The epicness of the tune, along with greater interest in Haley are good ingredients for major popularity of SNA. I'm not a fan of dragging out the release of the video since I'd prefer an explosive release rather than dribs and drabs of publicity. Mentions are always good, but the Billboard article is now just general publicity rather than a some rocket fuel.

I don't think there is a clear roadmap for Scott (or others) to follow, so he has to experiment with ways of releasing and promoting PMJ material. With respect to SNA in particular, it is such a strong offering that a few days to a week of anticipation of the video sounds about right for the sweet spot to release it after releasing the album. There are no other "star" tracks on the album that haven't been out on video, so I wouldn't worry much about hurting someone's feelings or whatever. Alternatively, I might have delayed the release of the album a little.

I think where SNA is ahead of Creep is that there's so many more parts to the song, clips here and there for a few seconds of placement than Creep has, better marketability potential

Yea, you're are probably right. Creep is limited by it's sad creepiness. Just at AATB seems to get elevated as a positive and relatable song for many. SNA has a lot of potential (I just think Haley does some amazing things on Creep). It's badass.
