This season's contestants got screwed on the finale, which is unfortunate. The abbreviated and modified format of this season was a total flop in my opinion. There was no opportunity for constestants to show a growth arc, or to gain much of an identity. After getting lopped off the show bang, bang, bang the singers didn't even get a season finale; it was preempted for the grand finale.
That's how I felt too. And it really was a good group. It could have been better if Scott wasn't so focused on kids..but it was really good. It's too bad they didn't get a full season..and the rest of the Idol experience.
