RE: "CREEP" - PMJ studio version with HALEY - john - 10-16-2015
If Creep reaches 11 million on the 20th it would need to get 3 million views over the course of the next 72 days to reach 14M by year end. Achieving that would require an increase to about 41,667 views per day on average over that time span. I think it can do that (maybe). The views per day could actually go significantly higher than that if she gets a lot of attention with the ICHFIL.

Thanks. You're right, I used the wrong date difference calculation cell (77 days left in the year, not 46 days). At the current rate, Creep would be at just over 13.6 million at December 31 so the uptick needed isn't that great and is quite likely. I will edit my previous post to correct my numbers.

She had a bump into the 40Ks after 7NA was uploaded and I assume she'll get a good bump with her next song on PMJ. But ICHFIL is the wild card. It appears to be drawing more views in recent days.

Quote:Ok, so I've been under a rock apparently because a friend just introduced me to PostmodernJukebox... so I have been browsing through popular videos & stumbled across this one. I immediately recognized Haley Reinhart. I voted my ass off for her in Season 10 American Idol. When she was eliminated from the competition I was baffled... How could people of America not think this woman's voice is pure bliss. I got the biggest goosebumps of my life listening to this AMAZING rendition. Absolutely brilliant!

While the number of views varies a bit day to day, and week to week, the trend this week has been up. Creep picked up over 41K views in the past 24 hours, which is likely more than it has received on any day in recent weeks.

From a French website (Google translated)
"Monsieur Vintage: Creep by" by Radiohead Slow Release Much Vintage
Quote:Released in 1992, the song composed by Thom Yorke singer of the British band Radiohead: Creep was a success. 23 years later, a young American singer takes the vintage release.
Haley Reinhart was just 25 years. Finalist of American TV hook American Idol, she is associated with the formation Postmodern Jukebox, specializing in covers of old and contemporary pieces, reworking them to the sauce and nostalgic vintage.
Very present on You Tube, this group became known through this medium. After listening singing Haley Reinhart, the founder and pianist Postmodern Jukebox; Scott Bradlee decided to record a cover of Radiohead tube: Creep with it.
The result is pretty neat, all codes vintage thereto; black and white, the dress of the singer, her hair, Adam Kubota bass, saxophone Ben Golder-Novich, Chip Thomas Battery and James Hall trombone. The tempo and the original version were revised to make way for a jazzy slow
Vintage atmosphere, hushed voice, powerful and jeering at a time, Haley Reinhart has more than one string to its bow when it comes to vocalizing. Postmodern Jukebox and the singer also included other songs, which you can find on the net (including some at the end of the video below).
