I would but I'm hesitant to, I JUST got to take a look at it, didn't realise they did such a good job. At the shoot I asked her if it's OK if I posted a pic of the makeup job (I was very careful to ask permission, show her what I intended to post, like the shoe shot, for instance. My first pic of them was straight on, she looked at it, then said, let's try it like this, and that's the one we used.... Girl has an eye, for sure)

Anyway, I asked her if it's OK to post the makeup job they did on me, she said, she would prefer I not, to keep the surprise. Of course we know about the leak, that occured shortly afterwards... and she smartly dealt with it by posting her own on Instagram.
(someone said, I shouldn't have told her, but I think Haley will take it as a learning experience for next time. I doubt there was serious 'repercussion', perhaps she just had a talk with the person who posted it. These people got along really well and were very respectful of each other's talents and obviously worked well together... the leak was more a disappointment and minimally damaging, nothing to get too upset about or lose someone who's work you respect)
Anyways, last I heard she said she preferred that I not, I want to be consistent, you will have to wait 'til the video to see, sorry. I just got to see the pic I took with the makeup with Haley, but I can't post that either because she was in a different outfit.... so obviously I'd like to at least keep that mystery intact (BTW ...beautiful as you might expect. My all time favorite picture taken with Haley
) They ran out of time, sun went down, but they seem confident they got enough footage to not have to schedule another day of shooting.We Haliens actually got a little directing, they had us do at least 6 takes (with and without Haley), then we had to exaggerate movement (maybe for slow mo?) and close up shots (no idea how these came out) then finally, we were directed to start 'randomly dancing' LOL..... hopefully the editing will be kind
Little Hannah got to show off her hula hooping skills (during a break, Haley hula hooped with Hannah, showed what a real hula hoop champion could do... Hannah had won a couple competitions... Hilarity ensued when Casey came to join in the Hula Hooping fun LOL)
(all this time, I had no idea what the makeup looked like, so glad they did such a great job, and boy was I glad I lost the weight... 5 lbs heavier than my HS weight,now
)A few people passed by and told us 'you guys did great'. I wondered, "what did I get myself into" after the random dancing.... Casey overheard me and said, "Oh, you knew what you were getting into" and smiled LOL
I really had reservations if they actually had a plan for us.... If they decided to use the footage or not, we really got a 'full meal deal' for what we contributed and beyond my expectations. We got more than our money's worth and there was so much positivity in the air, the entire time

The cgi/composite guy was there (I took a couple years of 3D computer graphics classes, so shot the bull w/ him) I asked how long, his girlfriend said, not that much time for a music video, and Ethan/Evan? I forget (cgi guy) is a workaholic, maybe 4-5 weeks. Someone asked Dannig and I was told Danni guessed closer to 3 weeks.
So somewhere in between?

MAE, you might be pleased to learn, there's an ever so slight possibility of getting Casey and his band to play Jazz Alley.
I told him and the GingerBread band that Jazz Alley asked me to send them a press kit (this after I 'begged' Casey to play the NW...his response? Get me a gig
) when I innocently tweeted to Haley a suggestion of a venue for her up here.... so I told them the story about Jazz Alley being interested, Jacob Scesney, his Sax player, knew of the venue, and told Casey that it's one of the more well respected Jazz clubs in this area. Casey then showed interest. Jacob told me to get Jazz Alley and he'll send them a Press Kit of them....
So we may actually get Casey and his troubadours up here Maybe if he has a good time up here, Haley next? (a boy can dream)

Thanks for sharing your stories Tusk! Sounds like a day youll never forget. Haley looks so chill in the pictures you posted. Did she seem nervous about the shoot at all?

The heck with waiting -- bring her with them the first time! (Actually last week I was thinking of something along those lines.)
I'm glad you talked to "the boys" about Jazz Alley -- and I'm pleased, and, perhaps surprised, that Jacob knew of it. That's good. If they could line up some gigs along Northern California, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver, it might make it worth their while to do it.
But more than anything, I'm happy for you that the shoot was such an enjoyable experience for all and looking forward to more details.

Mae, it would make me so happy if Casey and/ or Haley could perform in your neck of the woods! Although I think it may be easier to get Casey to go than Haley.
