RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - midnightblues - 01-18-2013 SWitch to satellit radio, u get it all Lots of classic rock stations.XMSirius RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Miguel - 01-21-2013 This video was posted yesterday. The title indicates it's an interview from the 1-19-13. But I'm not sure if that's true. Looks like it originally aired 1-6-13. http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/07/health/human-factor-james-durbin/index.html RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Outcast - 02-04-2013 James Durbin @DurbinRock Bag is packed. Ready for a killer week in LA cranking out some more hits for the new record!! I'll keep you updated!! ![]() New tattoos: ![]() ![]() RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Tusk - 02-04-2013 Yikes that tattoo looks painful RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Outcast - 02-04-2013 His arm looks pretty swollen in that pic. But he loves getting tattoos, he seems determined to cover both his arms with tattoos. RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Outcast - 02-05-2013 For James' arrival in LA his first stop was the House of Blues to perform with Steel Panther (again): James Durbin @DurbinRock Just got off stage with @MichaelStarrr @steelpanther!! #sweetchild & #kickstart So much fun!! Been too long since I've been on stage!!!!! Gawd how I've missed seeing James on stage! \m/ RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Tusk - 02-05-2013 Admittedly, my Metal card expired somewhere in the late 90's early 2000's so excuse me if I'm not aware of where Steel Panther rate in the Metal hierarchy, but IMO, James out sung their lead singer in those performances. He's hitting those high notes with more ease, it looks like. RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Outcast - 02-06-2013 Steel Panther are very well known in the metal world but they're viewed by most as a cheezy 80s hair metal parody-like throwback band. You might remember them by their old name they went by back in the 80s - Metal School. Still they have a pretty big and stable fanbase and they regularly pack the house whenever they're in town. They've always been very supportive of James and this is the 3rd time he's performed with them. So that's cool with me even though I'm not into them myself. And yeah James sings circles around Michael Star and he knows it, he always lets James do the high notes. RE: James Durbin: Era 2.0 - Outcast - 02-06-2013 James Durbin @DurbinRock Day 1 in LA with @ScottExies. Holy crap were cranking out hits like its nobody's business!! Oooooooow!! It's a beaut ![]() Scott Stevens writes with a lot of hard rock acts and co-wrote Halestorm's hit I Miss the Misery, I'm happy James is working with him. James Durbin @DurbinRock @JustinHawkins Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow!! Justin Hawkins @JustinHawkins @DurbinRock me too! Perhaps to tour together?
