I'd certainly agree with you about BC Jean -- she should stick to song writing. Mark, and particularly Dylan, have been pleasant surprises. (That could be because my expectations had been so low, they had no where to go but up.) Dylan seems to know his way around his instrument -- and also he really seems to enjoy performing.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO ya caught me! I think I am just used to Casey and Haleys near perfect harmonies. The others...not so much. They are both great guitar players though, and like I said, it's nice to have them take her under their wing. BC's voice hurts my ears and I hope they never, ever sing HTRJ again. Ever.

Although I thought BC Jean was someone else the first time we heard her join in on HTRJ, I said then that she couldn't sing. (She's probably lucky that Beyonce did steal "her" song, which then became a big hit -- it wouldn't have with BC singing it!). I think Mark may use his guitar playing to compensate for what he lacks vocally.

But, as you said, neither Mark nor Dylan have Casey's confidence in singing harmony with Haley. (They also haven't been singing with her -- off and on -- for 3 years.) And, well, Caley -- is Caley!

Thanks Penny. That was one of the only pictures of Haley that turned out despite Greg giving me some helpful advice. Glad I was able to capture some of her joy at getting the card.

A late Sunday night concert worked in our favor as it probably limited the number of fans in attendance but it was an enthusiastic audience.

Yanni asked me at the end of the night if i still had buyers remorse and I had to tell him with a laugh an emphatic NO! Hanging out with Halien friends during the weekend and seeing and talking to Haley and hearing a great concert was worth every penny I spent!! With the added bonus of seeing Rachel give Haley her card, just more icing on the cake!
