I got GREAT pics of Casey and the band on the airplane wing, I want to somehow OK it w/ Haley to post, but I'll send it to Casey since I can DM him 'cause I finally got him to follow me

Those guys were in suits on a hot day in the Mojave?? On an airplane wing (the metal of which was probably intensifying the heat)? Seriously?? Even Casey?

The scary parts for them was it was near the end of the shoot and the wind started really picking up... But I think they had a blast, enjoyed themselves. While waiting, they must have started breaking out into song and music, at least 8 times...
I'm really excited to see how this comes out

When it's that hot, a dry heat might just make it seem worse. And, while not certain, it could have potential to damage instruments. (I know freezing weather can do -- I'm not certain if the opposite does as well.)

By the time it was their turn to be filmed, they had already learned the song, I believe they were performing SMYM
Before we were taken to location, we were all updated on the rules of being on their property, including the types of snakes and spiders to avoid(if you pick something off the ground, drop it immediately just to make sure no poisonous creatures are underneath it) as well as to keep hydrated, not only because of the heat, also because the high wind will draw the moisture out of your body

While I hadn't thought of "creepy crawlies," I had wondered about the water situation for you guys, since the original plans had the "Haliens" returning earlier in the day.
But, yes, if you're in a desert there are lots of poisonous "critters" to be mindful of. (Man, it's been so long since my Arizona days, that I've forgotten those "habitual rituals," that were once deeply ingrained.)
In that second picture, you can really see the effects of the wind. How did they have the cymbals anchored to the wing?
