Haley's smokey rendition of HOTRS was so hot, Tusk had trouble holding the camera. You need to get some Haley gloves...

..Also in this video I pull back for a crowd shot and you can see how far back and up a hill I had to be to get an unobstructed shot. This from just being in the front row. Some at IDF were compalining about the sound mix, not taking into account how far back and to the right of the stage to get the combination of fair sound and coverage of the stage.... We were hearing mostly what was coming from the speakers on the right which of course would contribute to hearing only part of the sound.... There was a good amount of bass at the show and if you notice most of my videos had minimal amount of bass.
The video might have been sharper but I had to really zoom in to get to the stage from where I stood shooting past two trees. Had I not been that far back and up a hill, you would have seen much less of the stage had I just been standing level with the rest of the audience (also accounting for some of the exagerated shaking because I had to zoom in from so far) .
I'm not sure why people don't take this into account when complaining about the sound mix. It does matter how far back and to the right I was when the audio was picked up by a common camcorder mic.
As I've preached over and over here and IDF, you have to just go see her live, and commenting on the sound of the performance off an amateur video is actually meaningless and misguided, because it has more to do with the limitations of where I was filming from and with what and not with the sound engineer or the band
To my ears, the band, the Reinharts and Haley sounded great, you only have to listen to the crowd reaction to hear that.
PS: Although I admit to herculian effort to control the shake of the camera from my excitement (
), some of the shaking and moving was in response to avoiding people that would just pass by without regard to my filming or my being jostled by people near me bumping into me. I had to sit down for some of it to rest my elbow on my leg from fatigue of holding up the camera for the length of the performance and to help keep the shot steady)

^ I completely understand...it was a Haleyulean task. My little video at MOA of intro and Wasted Tears wore out my left hand before the 6 minutes were up. I started having muscle spasms and had to switch hands. You did good Tusk...all the overthinking in advance still doesn't solve every issue that comes up.
I wondered why there were no professional videos taken by Interscope/Red Light Management or Local News channels? You would think this would be something to document for promotional purposes/news/history...whatever?

There was a professional video taken of the whole concert. I know because he was right in front of me! I asked him who he was with and he kind of just said "its for the band". His t shirt had a 101.9 logo on it.
