Early in the interview, I realized he reminded me of Andy Griffith, who was also born and raised in North Carolina. I found it interesting he spoke about how picking songs for the album was different that picking songs for the show -- because with the latter pandering to the voters is top of mind. 9/11 tribute song anyone?
