Domain name registration dates for Idol contestants - Miguel - 07-31-2011
Artists signed with Interscope have a domain name that consists of their full name and the word "official."
For example:

They apparently registered these domains once the Top 24 was decided.
The registration dates:

Since they weren't all registered on the same day, I assume they must be registered as part of a process after their paperwork is turned in. If that is true, Jacob must have been really eager. At first, Haley's was the only one I could find from December. But they registered four on December 24th before probably closing the office early for the holiday. Then when they returned after the new year, they registered most of the rest on Monday (1/3) and Tuesday (1/4).
It looks like Julie and Scotty fail through the cracks. A domain squatter actually picked up the preferred domain name for Scotty, which is why the official domain name includes a dash.
