If Haley made it to the S9 top 3...? - Himm2 - 10-15-2013
...instead of S10 how do you think it would play out?
* Would Lee DeWyze split the Illinois vote with Haley or would she so overpower him he wouldn't even be in the top 4?
* Would Crystal Bowersox steal some of that midwest voting action?
* Would Casey James do better than Casey & James did in S10 and carry the country vote to the finale like Scotty & Lauren?
* Would Simon Cowell learn to love Haley or antagonize her like Randy?
* Would Kara DioGuardi show more support than J Lo did?
* Would there still be some misinterpreting of Haley's attitude one year younger?
* If the confetti fell on Haley in the finale with a song designed for her many vocal nuances and released during the Idol Tour would it have hit the Billboard top 20?
* Any other thoughts of how it would have worked for Haley in S9 rather than S10?

I'll say this, I really think Simon was trying to kill Idol that season. XFactor was coming on. He got rid of pretty much any marketable female artist. The contestants were pretty bad, and then he pushed Lee. So despite the rough season Haley had, I'm glad it was on season 10.
