How did I miss this VOA interview? 4/22/12 - Himm2 - 01-11-2014
I stumbled on this LovinDa Haley upload while browsing Youtube that I had never seen before. The interview was in Washington DC when Haley was there for the Cherry Blossom Festival Parade. It might have been posted here right after "Listen Up" was released but I never saw it until now. I love all the optimism that was portrayed. I mentioned to Haley when she was on the Fire Truck in the Wlimette Parade that I'm dying to hear "Wonderland" performed live someday (since it was playing thru the Fire truck speakers). She responded: "You just have to request it".

It was originally an audio only broadcast, the vid came afterward, that's when Lovinda posted it.
I loved her intro to "Wonderland" so much that I ended recording it and re-burning "Listen up!" to include the intro before Wonderland
I hope one day that she get's to get some background singers, a big band to perform Wonderland live the way it's intended too
(I think she did some kind of spring parade and I believe Bonjojet got a photo w/ her during this visit to DC as well....

Thanks guys for the breath of life you always bring to the HaleyFans site, when there is a drought you always dig deep to bring it water & if there is seven years of struggle and growth my money says you will be there all seven years just so you can feel the deluge. When Haley finds the right cloud thats what it will be, I feel it.
