My friends who I'm going to see Haley and PMJ with a week later in LA live right there... it's in their neighborhood, too bad I already booked my flight, would be nice to fly in a few days earlier to see this too

Coincidence that Lovefool is described as being done in the "Sinatra style"?
Edit: Just realised, this is happening a day after PMJ is in Seattle on the 16th....this is the reason Haley can't make Seattle

At about 8:15 a female singer comes on. Needless to say Haley sings on a different plane.
BTW, I think Scott changed the description to include Sinatra-esque after we had been discussing that here on HF.

Little bit of alarm today, my friend has gathered a bunch of people to go to the show, but the original link to the event is dead.
When you go to the Buy Ticket page, this is what it says....

So of course, there was consternation... is Haley going to sing or is she not?
Well, after a bunch of phone calls made, it turns out that Haley is going to be there, she is replacing Renee Olstead who's booked to do some kind of acting thing....
The people running the site weren't updating their page, why it led to confusion

When the misunderstanding happened, my friend had over 20 people going to the show to see Haley, I figured maybe Harry might know (This was before we found the reason there were two different vocalists listed). Once I found out we were OK, that Haley was going to be there, Harry elaborated on how they came to meet Damiani:
Quote:Glad it worked out. At first this didn't sound familiar, but then I realized it was a show that Dave Damiani contacted me about Haley's availability. They hooked up and worked it out seeing as she was not on tour at that time. We met Dave at L.A. Live during the Idol Finale...he was the band leader of the house jazz group at the big Marriott where we were staying, right by the Nokia. Patti & I both sat in with him and went downstairs to the club to catch them each night.
