I am too. I found one cheap flight, but the prices for decent hotels on those dates are high compared to a quick trip I took in January. Spring vs Winter, I suppose. A Thursday would also affect my work schedule and they've been very accommodating recently with my need for time off to tend to a family matter.

Good observation. It used to be Haley's LA shows were casual affairs with mostly a few longtime fans attending. This time they're renting a venue in which to perform new music. It could be the kickoff of a jazz period for Haley.
But here's the thing... that recording session earlier this year didn't seem to involve Concord. Nor a lot of live instrumentation or the involvement of Haley's closest musical buddies.
So, what's up?
A self-produced and released EP?
Maybe they recorded some jazz songs last
year during the recording sessions for WTS?

That black outfit Haley's wearing in those red photos surely is reminiscent of a cabaret type performance....perhaps she is taking some cues from her fellow PMJer, Ariana Savalas, and the music will be burlesque/cabaret oriented?

We don't really know that there haven't been sessions w/ her musical buddies. We see a lot more than we used to with Haley posting fairly regularly on Instagram, but we didn't really know about her trip to the carribean, we didn't know when she was in New York for over a week (the same week I foolishly thought she might get to meet Dhani in LA).... We have seen her post at some studios w/ people I didn't recognise....so, I think it's very possible that there's a lot we don't know.
As I said, June is half way through the year, Haley performed one time this year in LA that we know of. Family time, Drew time etc....still in 5+ months, there's a lot of room for "miscellaneous' activity

When Haley simply hops on a plane we're not likely to know about it unless we're at LAX. For her major musical endeavors since "Listen Up!" though she has included past collaborators, musicians she knows and family. I think sharing the experience of putting music out into the world with them makes it more enjoyable. And we can usually pick up on that.

No, remember he asked Catie to DM him after Haley suggested they might collaborate... She will very likely be performing w/ Haley at the Troubadour.
He is trying to give her encouragement due to what she tweeted though. She's young and will have to learn to grow thicker skin like Haley had to. Some of those fan bases can be 'savage' and it does her no good to even give them any credence.
