OMG you don't know how mad and upset I am that I can't go. I always for the last 2 months work until 7 or 8 on saturdays. I might have been able to get there if I had a few weeks notice, but with only 1 week its impossible. We recently had 3 people quit at work and I even had to cancel my family vacation to Indiana. I am NOT letting that happen for my 4 day weekend vacation in August for Beatlefest!!!
For those of you who go to Ribfest--Have fun and can I ask one small favor? Please tell Haley I say hi, and that I really would be there if I could.
Hopefully she will be back soon and I have more time to get out of work. Ok.. angry rant over

I just checked the ticket prices, and didn't realize it was so expensive- $80 + $20 parking. So now I will have to pass on it. I am already going to 3 other major concerts this summer--Jeff Lynne with ELO, Ringo and the All Starr Band, and Fleetwood Mac with Mike Campbell so I can't afford another big ticket price right now. I am very happy for Haley to have this great opportunity to open for Steven Tyler, and I would love to see him too
I don't want to say "next time", because of what happened with Tom Petty, and I lost my chance to see him Sad, but it will be ok. I feel better and I am not mad or upset anymore like I was last night. I can watch one of my Haley dvds that night Smile
Naperville is only about 30 minutes away from me, and I was there for another event to see a Petty tribute band 2 weeks ago, and took a picture with the lead singer.

opening before a main stage act is a great way to grab new fans, a lot of Steven Tyler and Aerosmith fans will camp out at the stage before his set to grab front row spots, therefore will sit through Haley's act to get the best spots. Hope Haley plays to the rock loving crowd
