So Haley crossed Abbey Road in Liverpool...

Of course, Angie similarly followed suit....

Not sure what that Paramore image is from, the only image I found that was close was this one, that looks like it was taken in the same location

...it's not an album cover but there are a set of photos from there

Tusk, I hadn't noticed this before .... what do the jagged/angled (street) lines signify?

An inebriated department of transportation worker? Wink

I didn't drive when I lived in the UK, tho Google knows Smile

Quote:What do the white zigzag road markings in London indicate?

Quote:The zig zag lines, which are in use all over the country, are found on the approach to any form of pedestrian crossing. They denote an area where vehicles should not be parked because it causes a vision obstruction to do so, and where you should not pass the leading moving vehicle...this is for pedestrian safety. These lines are also outside of school entrances though they are coloured yellow.

Fabulous concept! I wonder how effective it is?

Actually Abbey Road's in London, Tusk.

TongueBlush

I know this might be weird, but my 'eye' thinks that Haley was photoshopped onto that pic. Mainly because the lighting on her is 'wrong' compared to the rest of the scene, ... anyone else see this?

Plus you look at the condition of the crosswalk compared to the one you see on this Abbey Road Cam

http://www.abbeyroad.com/crossing

It looks really worn in Haley's pic....

Tusk, I suspect you are correct, but I can't tell you why. It just looks as though the photo of Haley has been "implanted." I suspect that doesn't make sense.

RE: Haley and her family - Tusk - 05-17-2015

it's about ambient light as opposed to projected light. There is a bright light on Haley, that, although it casts a shadow, the direction of the light, which shines on her, doesn't appear to come from where her 'shadow' indicates it's coming from ....Tongue

Of course, it's entirely possible it's genuine and what I'm sensing is because of filters used or what not, I just can't shake the sense that something is 'off' from the first time I saw it posted Tongue

Now that I look at it more, it's possible someone used an app to 'select' Haley and 'brighten' her image while leaving the rest of the scene the same. Also, this could be another crossing, in the 'general vicinity' of Abbey Road studios which might account in the differences in the condition of the paint on the crosswalk

Someone noted the day she posted it that it wasn't from the same crossing as the one in the famous Beatles' pic. But we do know she was in London.
