Haley's (not-soon-to-be-released) single - Miguel - 12-08-2011
Indications are the release of Haley's first single is imminent. I'm sure we will want to discuss it when it does drop, so I have created this thread for all things single related. To begin, I've pulled a few things previously posted and added something new at the bottom of this post.

In this brief video posted on Facebook on December 5th, Haley says her first single will hopefully be coming out "any second now."
Yesterday, someone retweeted the picture the "West Coast editor of Paper Magazine" took of Haley at the opening of the G-Star denim store on Rodeo drive and he posted this in response:

An indication, I think, that she is planning to return to the show and perform her new single.

Last night on IF Himm2 reported:

Yeah I saw that earlier this morning. Wonderful news. So we can expect a press release I'm assuming coming soon to announce her upcoming new single being released. I'm wondering if they already did the video? Anyway, it was a long wait, but it is finally almost over. Halleluiah.

I'm thinking they did or else the timeline would be mighty short. We didn't hear any reports of any video shoots though, which makes me think the video might not be that elaborate. Unless the song is called "Wonderland" and it involves a lot of animation.

The timing of the release of the single seems to coincide with the start of the next season of American Idol. This could be smart publicity wise because some stories about the start of the show could include updates about past contestants.

Hey....just a thought. Maybe the gig she was talking about in that video above was the filming of her video?
