I trust Haley's musical sensibilities although I'm sure she has to push back a lot, as she alluded to recently. When Dr. Luke said many had passed on SUBG and it was Kelly Clarkston's vocals that made it a hit, I mean, who comes to mind? And as Steven and the other AI judges noted, she excels with the choruses, which can make for a good hook. Haley does have a bit of a balancing act to do.

Here is some pop trash that came out of Interscope with Jimmy's pets, Destinee and Paris. Rip off Teenage Dream much? This is the kind of danger Haley faces on a day to day basis in the studio. Sad

Much of the pop music produced today by female artists sounds the same to me -- over-processed. I'm hoping Haley's music will be simpler and let her voice be the star.
