On her personal sound:
"I guess I could call my sound a mix of R&B/soul, funk, jazz, rock...it's just a complete mixture of things. Once I figure out that word, I'll let you know (laughs)."

Good old Haley...favorite moments...Paul McCartney, Beach Boys reunion....loved the throwback stuff.
She looked gorgeous and sounded confident. Becoming more seasoned with the interviews.

Pretty good job on the interview, but her voice sounded a bit hoarse. So you can tell she has been doing a lot of talking over the past few days.
Anyway, my favorite act at the Grammy's last night was Bruno Mars in case anyone cares. That guy and his band flat out killed it last night and are immensely entertaining. The Beach Boys/Moroon 5 throwback was pretty entertaining, but I thought Sir Paul's voice last night sounded a bit aged and flat for some reason.

Yes, her interviewee skills are getting better. I agree that her voice sounds a bit ragged. It was probably an exciting week for her, but also very busy, and, thus, tiring, which could take it's toll on her throat.

From Wiki:
Quote:The Great American Songbook is a hypothetical construct that seeks to represent the best American songs of the 20th century[1][2][3] principally from Broadway theatre, musical theatre, and Hollywood musicals, from the 1920s to 1960, including dozens of songs of enduring popularity. The Great American Songbook became (and remains) a vital part of the repertoire of jazz musicians, who describe such songs simply as "jazz standards".
Hey, he should do a duet with Haley!
