Kellie Pickler - Red High Heels AI 7 - John Brown - 02-16-2012
Since Haley is rumored to be performing her debut single on AI, hopefully, in the near future, I started thinking back to other idols that sang their music on AI, and this one to me is the most memorable of all. Kelly Pickler is not only one of my favorite all time Idols, but she is also one of the best looking Idols to ever grace the stage of American Idol. I hope Haley's performance is as memorable to me as Kelley’s was. If her debut single is anywhere as good as the buzz, I'm sure it will be. I can hardly wait.

I like her personality and looks. I like her story. But I find the performance to be a little sleepy (due in part to the musical genre). Maybe I'm just missing the dramatic Haley arm wave.

For those of you who may be fans of Kellie Pickler like I am, here's a pretty cool intimate concert she gave recently in Nashville for Yahoo Music and Ram Trucks where she sings a number but not all of her songs from her new album “100 proof” plus a couple of really good oldies but goodies. By the way, her latest album “100 proof,” which I purchased as soon as it was released, is easily her best yet and indeed her voice keeps getting better and better. Anyway, she is one of my favorite Idol alumni.

By the way, there is a Ram Truck commercial between each song and at the end is a short interview with Kellie where she talks about her new album and her Idol experience.
