It sounds like she found that you can get burned doing songs that Haley performed last year. After singing You and I and I'm Your Baby Tonight she was planning to sing Fallin but nixed it after she learned that Haley had also performed that song. "...but again Haley Reinhart did that song so I was like oh well....yeah, I learn all these things after the fact. I stayed away from Fallin..."

Clearly she is a much more mature signer than the typically contestant. Her lane? Rock, blues, jazz, soul... Didn't like to be "pinpointed" but considers Rock n' Roll her strength.

We were pulling for her but seriously felt that the winner of this show is pre-determined and kids like Elise basically had no chance, so it wasn't to dissappointing when they massaged her out. Kinda in the same vane as Hollie Cavanaugh was shown the door.
I wish her well, I thought highly of her and enjoy her vibe pretty much. She'll probably make a few bucks singing her A$$ off and have a fair career.
