Well it's better than nothing, and you get the jist. Tongue

It's a life saver for me, with my newly reacquanted relatives in Vietnam and France...most of them know English, but I have minimal comprehension of French, and even less of Vietnamese.
(I gotta really try picking up my French, going to France in March for a Cousin's wedding Cool )

Actually, I didn't -- I thought it was hysterical because I couldn't make heads or tails sense of half of it. I think the message is postive, but -- well ... Sometimes those translation programs are just funny.

Yes, if headed to France in a few months, it would behoove you to work on your French (speaking skills). BTW, I've found your posts on MJ to be interesting (you've done some homework!), and particularly enjoyed (and recognized) your Brit background/schooling in the spelling of certain words (using an "s" when, here, we would use "z"). (Please don't be offended -- I noticed it and found it charming.)

Basically, she says she heard the song on the radio, had to find who the singer was and the lyrics, and loved it so much she had to cover it....at least that's the meaning I get.... Maybe someone who actually knows the language can give us an accurate translation Big Grin

Last time I was in France, no one let me try the little French I knew, they would finish it for me Tongue
So either you are almost profficient, don't even try. Tongue

I also insert a 'u' in colour and neighbour every once in a while too...I've given up trying to be consistent anymore Blush

Do not be embarrassed, my friend. It's their language! They know how to use it (and, oh, how I do love hearing that!) and, I suspect they know how it's supposed to be spelled.
