I get such a Jerry Garcia vibe from Casey. Great performance of a great song. His album is fantastic, and he really helps himself when performing live. Gone are the psycho-Casey expressions and sounds, which I believe were brought about by nerves, and what's left is the true artist Casey who just oozes musicianship.

Oh, and love this little band of merry musicians he's traveling with. The trio meshes so well.

Bubbling Under: Casey Abrams Arrives on AC

2011 "American Idol" sixth-place finalist Casey Abrams notches his first entry on a Billboard genre airplay chart, as "Get Out" (Concord/CMG) debuts on Adult Contemporary at No. 27. The song is the first single from his self-titled debut album, which opened atop Heatseekers Albums three weeks ago and has sold 10,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The set from the 21-year-old Texas-born singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist includes appearances by Jamie Cullum and Abrams' "Idol" co-contestant Haley Reinhart.
