I understand Miguel, you know I'm with you. My comment wasn't so much about your perception of things or the title of this thread as much as expressing my feelings about the way things are being handled in this regard and her AI connection.
Initially I was very pleased at the creative freedom and people Interscope allowed. That start had me believing that there is a 'bigger picture' strategy that is being put into play, and it's progression is so slow and deliberate that we can't perceive it with our desire for recognition for Haley right away. My position was passive... "Interscope knows what they are doing, let's watch..."
It's been a good amount of time now, and doubt is starting to creep into my mind that it's not so much a 'bigger strategy' as it is a 'let's quietly introduce this match and hope it catches fire' strategy.
Since Haleypalooza, I feel like I don't even care as much what they are doing anymore. Seeing her confidently blast that stage in all her glory, has bumped up my confidence in her talent and in Haley as a person, even more than before. I used to have a tentaviness about ..."maybe this and maybe that..." That doubt is mostly gone. The promotion will help, but I believe in Haley that most of the doubts are incidental to me anymore.
I can be longwinded

, but the jist of my above post is I'm done waiting for whatever the strategy is that Interscope is employing if any, and I've decided to move ahead with others of her fans that have taken initiative on their own to spread the news about her. Moving from a passive to an active position.
That's the main reason for my putting 'haleyfans.com' on my vids instead of say, Idolforums.com. Haley may some day fade from 'featured' artist on IDF depending on how things evolve with Haley, and move onto other Idols.
Haleyfans will be haleyfans populated by Haley's fans. However the vids are going to be used (and I'm pleased as punch at the recent postings on Interscope and her site), it will have the Haley stamp on it for those taken by what they see and they can come here to learn more about Haley through us.
That's what I mean about all of us doing our parts to be available for new fans, taking an active role, like you did by starting this site when it looked like TVline's comments were nearing the end. That's why I enjoy doing Haley art, not only for the pleasure I get out of it, creating with Haley as my muse, but to also display Haley in a good light, aiding in other fans Haley enthusiasm by decorating themselves with Haley sigs and and avatars.
We have figure8 and stairway2halien being the quiet distributors of Haley news, giving us heads up so we can attend something we may not be aware of (I won a chance to see Haley in Spokane because stairway2halien posted the link).
Think about how valuable Hiphopgamer's "Haley's Journey" is to us now....Think about being able to go to Repad's excellent vids and reliving Haley's performances in glorious HD
We also have Himm2 and now Babbs as our Wheeling insiders to give us scoops from the Reinharts every once in a while
Even folks like LovinDa and Buzz who bring their off kilter perspective, on all things, for content...something for Haley's lurker fans to come back to read up on during slow Haley news days (and what I was basically doing at TVLine, creating discussions that people participated in, even if non Haley related, just to keep interest and the community together, even when there was no news ) We can come together and keep things moving until the next big Haley event.
We have organically grown a nice network that supports Haley and that is where our efforts are best utilized.
Interscope may have a 'master strategy' for Haley, doesn't mean we should not help 'grease the wheels' so when 'it' happens we can be proud that we helped play a part in it
